Happy Independence Day

Happy Independence Day.  Tomorrow here in the USA is the 4th of July, a day where our country comes together to celebrate the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, declaring independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain.   The Declaration of Independence is a statement explaining this decision to be an independent country.

Like many people, I have a personal Independence Day in my life, the day I left my career working as a paralegal for someone else and started my own business.  I’ll be celebrating 9 years in October.  Helping others create their personal freedom with an extraordinary business is something I’m very proud to be a part of.

Freedom is a fundamental desire shared by all of humanity.  For some, we’re seeking freedom from small annoyances like bad hair days, uncomfortable shoes or frustrating traffic.  Others are seeking freedom from much bigger challenges such as a government system, negative financial setbacks or freedom from a health related situation.

All manifestations begin with a thought.  Just like the colonists thinking about freedom then taking action steps in the direction of their desire.  Now, 238 years later we’re still celebrating this huge accomplishment that solidified the creation of what is now known as the United States of America.

This year in our house on Independence Day we’re getting together with some friends to create vision boards.  We’re doing what the colonists did; we’re coming together and visualizing what we want in our lives.

On the blog this week I’m debating eZine vs. Blogging as a way to create engagement and stay connected with those who know and love the great things you’re doing.  You may be surprised to see how they work together and which one can significantly grow your soulful business.

Email eZine vs Blogging

Which is better for your conscious bossiness?

For many years now as a soulful entrepreneur, I’ve been a fan of both email eZines and blogging as ways to grow my conscious business. It’s often the number one thing I work on with my clients who participate in my Soulful Business 4 Month Intensive Coaching Program to help them create a presence online and a connection with their audience. My experience, research and client results have lead me the following conclusion – you can’t have one without the other.

Sure there are bloggers who write about the things they’re passionate about that become huge and movies are made about them.  {Continue Reading}
