Today it’s a downright cold here at my place in Daytona Beach. So the thought of being somewhere else came up very easily this morning, because I’m thinking if it gets any colder I may be heading to Miami or the Keys or even Panama. However, that’s not the real question I’m asking.
Let me ask this another way “Where do you plan to be next year?”
I’m sure you’ll agree that there is a huge difference between wishing and action. While one may wish to sell 20 homes in 2011 – if they don’t take go to any listing appointments or show any homes to buyers, that’s going to be pretty hard.
With proper dreaming, planning and action, it’s not only possible, it’s probable that you’ll be exactly where you want to be this time next year.
Planning starts by looking at the current year. What worked, what didn’t and tweaking things from there. If something really worked, do more of that and if you need help, find people to help you get more accomplished.
Note: Action has to be in alignment with your personality and work styles, it has to be comfortable to be consistent. Just because someone else is burning up the board making cold calls doesn’t mean you have to in order to generate more sales. Figure out what YOU do best, stretch a bit and then kick it up into high gear to reach your goals.
